“The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision which no one could have dreamed would have come their way.” ~W.H. Murray
Breathing in, I feel the love that makes up everything in this moment. Breathing out, I release another layer that has kept that love from being fully received.
Breathing in, I commit to this life of uncertain, messy, beautiful truth. Breathing out, I let go of the belief that it all has to go a certain way in order to be okay.
Breathing in, I hear the whispers of my heart gently reminding me that I am held no matter what. Breathing out, I allow the patterns of resistance and fear to dissolve.
That moment when we finally say, “Yes! I commit to my purpose now. I am ready to walk the path that is right before me. I am ready to run, leap, skip, fly.” This moment of magic, commitment, strength, and faith. This is it.
We can never really know what is going to unfold as the days go by. Even when it’s all neatly written in our best journal, with every step carefully thought out, there will always be a twist in the plot, a curve on the path, that takes us to land never dreamed of before.
What I have come to know is that the showing up is what matters most; just showing up, exactly as I am, with a determination to surrender, open, listen, and trust in what is being presented before me. With presence and mindfulness, I am ready to take inspired action and live the dreams that were once only thoughts and feelings within me.
There is a powerful energy surrounding us right now. It’s a nudge of action, telling us that it’s okay to do things we may have hesitated to do before. It’s time to truly let the opinions of others fall to the side. We know what we’re here to do. We know who we’re here to be. We really do.
Today, I make the commitment to myself to step into my wholeness, allow my uniqueness to be seen without fear of what “they” think, and honor the purpose I have been given in this lifetime.
Is there something within your heart that you’ve been wanting to put into action? Are you ready to breathe and simply allow it to unfold? Could it be time to commit to yourself in ways that you never imagined before?
Breathing in, I hear the call of my soul. Breathing out, I say “yes” to this remarkable life.
